Throughout the year we have pleasure inviting our alumnae community to join us at school for a number of events including Open Days, music concerts, networking events and significant sports fixtures, as well as bespoke alumnae events, held both at BGS and other venues. Dates will appear in the calendar when details are available. We look forward to welcoming you.

London Drinks - Thursday 26th February 2026 - 6.00pm

We would like to invite you to the annual London Alumnae Drinks Reception on Thursday 26th February 2026. This year we will be co-hosting the event again with the Old Bedfordian Club and welcoming their alumni too. A great opportunity to gather some old school friends, catch up with others and extend your network.

The event will be held at Harrild & Sons, 26 Farringdon Street, London EC4A 4AB. We have a reserved area at the back of the bar area on the ground floor. The venue is a 2 minute walk from City Thameslink Station. The venue is a perfect location for those who live on the trainline or work in London.

Rachel has extensive experience in business and security consultancy across a vast range of organisations from Banking to the Civil Service, Telecommunications and Retail, Financial Technology and Cybersecurity. She has experienced both sides of assessments; taking part in several assessments herself as well as facilitating them for potential candidates.

This early evening session is ideal for alumnae at university or recent graduates looking to get ahead in an increasingly competitive recruitment environment.

Alumnae Event in North Nottinghamshire - Sunday 26th April 2026

You are warmly invited to an Alumnae Gathering on Sunday 26th April 2026, hosted by Sally Mitchell (née Keane, BHS 1964) at her award-winning Museum of the Horse in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire. Located in a beautifully restored Georgian coaching inn and former posting house, The Museum of the Horse offers a unique glimpse into equestrian history through Sally's remarkable private collection, which spans over 2000 years. The museum is also home to Sally Mitchell's Gallery, featuring original paintings, limited edition prints, and greetings cards. Located just off the A1, with ample parking and good train links, the museum is very accessible to large parts of the UK.

The afternoon will include a delicious afternoon tea and an exclusive private tour of the museum, personally led by Sally. Tickets are priced at £12 per person. The event is open to all alumnae and their families. Please book your place.
